Vijana Corps

Vijana Corps (Vijana) is a Ugandan based, youth led, youth focused organization working to realize an enlightened, empowered and productive youth through digital and media literacy, livelihood and entrepreneurship development and participatory leadership approaches. Founded in 2013, Vijana envisions a Uganda where the youth are empowered and actively participate in processes that ensure social justice and equitable development. Vijana works through a network based establishment of organized youth groups across the country. These platforms are tailor made to enable the marginalized, poor, and disenfranchised youth to be seen and heard.
