Ridelink is an e-logistics platform connecting small and medium enterprises to professional truck drivers to enable safe and affordable mobility of cargo from point of production to point of sale. We are leveraging artificial Intelligence (AI) and big data to create transport economies for SMEs and usher them into logistics of the fourth Industrial revolution(4.0.)
Ridelink is concerned about sustainable use of the environment and through our business model of demand aggregation we are able to reduce carbon emissions into the ozone layer by reducing the number of trucks plying the same route and our campaign to plant one million trees by our 10th year. In effect we are reducing carbon emissions by reducing how many trucks and a natural cleansing system of our 100,000 trees already planted.
We serve SMBs, majority of whom are found in rural and peri urban areas . Small and Medium Enterprises in Africa are defined by revenue turnover ranging btn- $10000- $100000 per Annum. They make up to 80% of all businesses in Africa and they contribute up to 70%of GDP in landlocked countries Uganda being a case in point. Notably they are characterized by inability to afford their own transport means let alone ability to produce enough to fill a truck on their own.
From inception, Ridelink aspires to give 10 million Small and Medium Enterprises with in the Sub-Saharan Africa access to 100m trucks/trailers at the tap of a button In an efficient, affordable, dependable and sustainable manner while leveraging technology and big data to do demand aggregation, circularize our economy through maximum resource utilization and environmental friendly methods of doing business.
