Trees
The unique tropical nature in Uganda is very important to us. On average, 20,000 trees are cut down every day just for daily cooking with charcoal as the daily demand of charcoal for cooking is 5,000 tons. We want to protect and expand the tree population.
Jobs
We know that improved income has many positive consequences: children go to school longer, simple health care is provided, participation in social life increases and the view of nature, which is worth protecting, becomes clearer.
Creating new and sustainable jobs is therefore our key priority.
