SOWI FARM FOUNDATION (U) Ltd is a Social Impact organization working at Grass Roots level with Rural Substances  Farmers Communities in Northern  Uganda providing a long-term solution to poverty.

We are an Innovative Social Business aiming at reducing poverty through improving Livelihood and Fighting Food Insecurity by unleashing Ugandan Small farmers’ abilities to grow their Income in an Environmentally Sustainable way. We Help farmers Boost Yield and also gain access to markets while protecting Environment for the future.

We are achieving the above Goal Through Support Orphans and Women Initiative (SOWI) a Registered Sister Community Based  Organization with a Mission “To improve Community Standards of living through multi-sectorial intervention for Sustainable Livelihood”. SOWI was registered in 2021 In Dokolo District to mobilize resources to implement strategic demand-driven community development initiatives geared towards improving the standard of living of the rural subsistence farmers through multi-sectorial intervention.

Last year Support Orphans and Women Initiative (SOWI) working through the established government structures mobilized and sensitized communities on GBV, HIV prevention, care and treatment and capacity building in the three sub-counties of Amwoma, Kangai and Agwata. In the past one year of operation in Dokolo, 350 individuals has been reached with HIV prevention, 90 individual with care and treatment.  We have Qualified Structural team which includes, The Board of Directors, Executive Director, Finance, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Project Manager, Human Resource, Field Officers, Data Clerk, Counselors and Other Volunteers that makes up a team for Successful Implementation.

We are raising Money for  Smallholders Farmers, Farming in Maize and Climbing (Pole) Beans Production of 100 Vulnerable Families Infected and Affected with HIV in Dokolo District Northern Uganda.
