Our journey began humbly in 2019 in Wanyange village, Jinja district, where we initially focused on poultry farming. During this time, we recognized the critical importance of creating a sustainable poultry ecosystem—one that could recycle resources and improve the quality of feed to produce organic foods.
Through continuous experimentation and innovation, we identified the Black Soldier Fly (BSF) as a game-changer, central to reducing the cost of poultry, animal, and fish feed. Not only does BSF improve soil fertility, but it also serves as an excellent solution for waste management.
With this realization, we rebranded our operations to focus primarily on BSF production, leading to the establishment of a dedicated BSF production facility in Mpungwe, Mayuge district. This location was strategically chosen for its ideal weather conditions, which support the optimal growth and development of BSF larvae.
