Eco-Shoes Africa is a non-governmental organization based in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement in northern Uganda. We are dedicated to sustainability and improving the lives of refugees through innovative solutions. Our work focuses on recycling, providing essential footwear, and empowering refugees with skills and job opportunities.
One of our main initiatives is recycling old shoes to create artistic and eco-friendly footwear. This helps reduce waste and protect the environment while also providing sustainable solutions for footwear needs.
We also ensure that vulnerable refugee children have proper shoes to attend school. Many children in refugee camps struggle to access education because they lack basic necessities like footwear.
