Spatial Mappers

We are an active group of students and academics at Ndejje university focused on leveraging open geospatial data to tackle local and global developmental issues. As a student driven organization, we collaborate locally and internationally with other chapters and the Global YouthMappers network to foster resilient Communities through Mapping. Our mission is to empower young leaders with the skills and knowledge to use web based geospatial technologies. By creating and sharing localized geographical data, we address specific development needs in Uganda and beyond. This work ensures that vital geographic information is available to support humanitarian efforts, crisis mapping, and long term development projects aimed at building resilience.
