Social entrepreneurship is rising in popularity and gaining more importance. It has gained greater visibility and recognition for contributing resources to address social and environmental problems whilst at the same time addressing economic issues.
Social entrepreneurship finds ways, measures, or settings up entrepreneurial tactics in order to provide systemic solutions to social and environmental problems. Social entrepreneurship activities are consistent with the role of the public sector and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Social enterprises are playing an important role in meeting fundamental societal needs and fostering social cohesion while delivering more inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
