BioAir Uganda

BioAir Uganda, a youth-led climate action initiative focused on tackling air pollution through sustainable bio-filter technology.

We serve urban and peri-urban communities in Uganda, particularly those most affected by poor air quality, including children, youth, and low-income households.

Our work sits at the intersection of climate and health, environmental restoration, and green livelihoods, using nature-based solutions to address air pollution while creating jobs for young people.

We also restore aquatic ecosystems by removing invasive water hyacinth and repurposing it for filter production
