Clay Cosmo is the first clay-based Skincare social business in Uganda that produces
natural clay and organic oils blend for ethical beauty to keep the skin natural and protect against environment damages. Clay is at heart of our productions for it richness in natural minerals like magnesium, zinc and phosphorous, it dries in the sun , blend with other healthy ingredients like aloe Vera, Shea butter , and other essential to give to the skin, hair and body the beauty it deserve .
Social inclusion and impact are at the core of our business, our production operations empower refugee teen mothers in Uganda to build better livelihoods and earn income while boosting the local economy
Raw ingredients are cultivated and harvested by the women in the farmers group focus. At Clay Cosmo mutual aid, transmission and benevolence are the watchwords. Our team holds the ancestral secrets to drying, sublimating and transforming our clay to make it accessible to all through unique care.
We are committed for the environment protection by using reuse packages , The sun-drying of our clay whichsave18,800mwh of gas per year, or more than 1,000 tons of CO2 each year . we are also sensitive to animal welfare, our formulas are vegan , no tested on animal. Our products are preservative-free, dye-free, ionized and irradiation-free. We do not add any chemical process
