According to a 2021/2022 Research by UBOS and UN Women, 56% women and girls reported experiencing physical violence and 22% reported experiencing sexual violence at least once in their lives. The same research stated a combined prevelance of 95% women and girls experiencing GBV since turning 15. The prevalence of the same in men was 40+%.
You’ll see it’s both sided, but people coming out to speak doesn’t mean the other side is neglected. The statistics speak.

Does this state the move is a gender battle? No it’s not. It’s only awareness of such facts and the need to have a balance—not that they both should be at 40-40, but that the vice should be eradicated all at once. That a safe space should exist for all.
