Green HomeLand Initiative

The Green Homeland Initiative (GHI) is a Ugandan social enterprise, founded by Sharon Natukunda, that focuses on environmental protection and empowerment, particularly for women and youth. GHI produces eco-friendly sanitary pads and provides training in sustainable practices, including menstrual hygiene, waste transformation, and climate change mitigation. The initiative also aims to build local capacity for sustainable water management and climate resilience within Ugandan communities.
