Promise Hub Uganda

Promise Hub was founded in 2016 by serial entrepreneurs Dave Erickson and Harald Neidhart.

While setting up a mobile health clinic in 2016, a Syrian girl named Waed handed our Co-Founder, Harald, a letter containing a promise: to shed the label of refugee and regain her unique identity as a human being.

Her call for dignity made us realize the need to bring opportunities closer to individuals wherever they may be – this provided the grounding spirit for Promise Hub.

We believe in the vast potential of all human beings, that with the right tools and encouragement, people will self-organize and dynamically seek solutions.
